WHO to Discuss Food Ads

The World Health Organisation (WHO) will meet in Geneva shortly to discuss how governments can better protect children from the marketing of unhealthy food. The WHO has drawn up a number of recommendations as part of a strategy to reduce non-communicable diseases. One major concern is that some countries are exposed to food marketing from beyond their borders, and the WHO is adamant that this issue needs to be addressed.
