A man who was carrying out maintenance on a wind turbine at the Causeymere Wind Farm in Caithness, Scotland, died when he was struck unconscious by one of the blades. It is understood that he did not fall, but was stuck on the turbine until rescue workers arrived. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing.
