Worker Loses Arm at Metals Plant

A 24 year old employee of a company that deals in the collection of ferrous metals near Udine, Italy, lost his arm while working on a metal separator. His arm was caught of a piece of metal and dragged by the conveyor belt into the mechanism where it was cut off from the shoulder. The young man is currently recuperating in hospital. The plant has been closed for investigation by the local Public Prosecutor.
