Workers Exposed to Emissions

Employees at an electrical recycling plant were exposed to extremely high levels of mercury at a UK plant between October 2007 and August 2008, investigators have found. The employees, which included a pregnant worker, were exposed to dangerous emissions during their work of recycling electrical equipment and lighting tubes. There is a danger that such exposure could lead to long-term health damage.
